EvidenceScope is a free, transparent literature search and screening tool for clinicians, researchers, and academics — and its core works entirely without AI, so you stay in control of the evidence and avoid AI hallucinations. Search literature (an AI query builder or a manual Boolean/MeSH search), refine with MeSH terms, filter by journal impact (OpenAlex, SCImago — top 10%/25%/all) and citation count (NIH iCite), and screen studies yourself, every result traceable to a real article. AI is an optional assist: it can extract PICO and study design per article, but it only ever works from the papers you selected — no invented references. Save any search to re-run later. Two more tools sit alongside the search pipeline: Ask literature answers a clinical question with grounded, cited responses (every claim linked to a real PubMed article), and the Journal Finder suggests where to publish, ranked by fit and enriched with impact, Open Access, and APC-deal data.

EvidenceScope is a free, transparent PubMed search and screening tool for clinicians and researchers. Its core works entirely without AI: search PubMed/MEDLINE and preprints, refine with MeSH terms, filter by journal impact (OpenAlex, SCImago SJR — top 10%/25%/all) and citations (NIH iCite), and screen studies yourself — every result traceable to a real article. AI is an optional assist that extracts PICO data or answers questions grounded only in the papers you searched — no hallucinated references. You stay in control of the evidence.
Is EvidenceScope free? Yes — completely free, no paid plans. Search, filter, screen, and export are unlimited; AI features (query builder, PICO enrich, Ask literature) have a generous daily fair-use cap.
Is there a free PubMed AI tool? EvidenceScope is a free AI PubMed search tool with MeSH, journal-impact, and citation filters, screening, and export.
Can it generate a PRISMA flow diagram? Yes — a PRISMA 2020 flow diagram and checklist build automatically as you screen, downloadable with your results.
Does it hallucinate references? No — Ask literature only cites PMIDs from the abstracts it retrieved for your question.
Which databases? PubMed/MEDLINE plus bioRxiv/medRxiv preprints via Europe PMC; impact from OpenAlex & SCImago; citations from NIH iCite.
